I am an enthusiastic promoter of taking a proactive approach to financial planning and draw on my 41 years of experience to help clients define and then achieve their financial objectives. I believe that success happens through planning not by chance and have confirmed that conviction through years of helping client achieve their goals.

Having helped create successful businesses at a corporate level, I left my corporate career to devote more time to my family and established Fox Payne Associates in 2005. Based in Caversham but with a clientele that extends through most of the South East and London my practice has now grown to a sizable business and has the capacity to provide a wide range of excellent services.

I have a reputation for providing clear, practical and actionable financial planning in an understandable way. All planning is reviewed on an annual basis, to ensure that if any intervention is required, that it is taken before any serious issue arises.

Having brought up six children, I understand the importance of appropriate financial protection and how to deal with the financial demands of a growing family, whilst still saving for the future.

My role at Fox Payne is to help our team deliver excellent financial advice to our clients, whilst continuing to build the Practice for the future to ensure we can deliver our services over the long term and be here for our clients, and their families, when they need us.

I started working for Allied Dunbar in 1992 and joined Fox Payne Associates Limited in 2005 as an Office Manager and PA to Matt. My main role is to assist Matt in the day to day operations of Fox Payne to ensure the business runs as smoothly as possible and to help coordinate the ongoing service events of his personal clients.

Out of work, I have my hands full with a sprightly Cocker Spaniel called Eddie and enjoy baking cakes and socialising with family and friends. I am also a keen cyclist.

I began my career as a Financial Planner in a leading national financial services company with ‘FT Top 100 Financial Adviser’ status. Joining Fox Payne in 2017, I have brought a client-focused, experienced analytical skill to my role as Senior Financial Planning Consultant.

When not busy at work, I balance my time relaxing on country walks with my wife and two children alongside the rigour of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu mat, in pursuit of an as yet elusive black belt.

I have been working in the financial services industry since 1987, initially in banking and bank assurance and moving in to financial advice in 1993. I’ve worked as a Financial adviser for Abbey National (formerly N&P building society, now Santander), Nationwide Building Society and NatWest Private Bank before joining Fox Payne Associates in June 2012.

I’m one of the senior Financial Planning Consultants and I provide holistic financial advice, principally working in the wealth management side of the practice helping clients with pension and investment advice. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. I’ve been married for 24 years and have twin boys who are at University.

To relax I enjoy travel and holidays with my family; gardening (having invested in a greenhouse a couple of years ago) and I swim regularly at our local pool. I’m also a supporter and season ticket holder at Reading FC who I’ve supported with my boys for 16 years but this can bring more disappointment than enjoyment at times

A dedicated Mortgage and Protection Specialist with 17 years of experience in the legal profession and 7 years in estate agency, I am well-equipped to help my clients navigate the complexities of home buying. Whether it's finding the right mortgage, protecting assets with insurance, or ensuring financial security for the future, my goal is to empower my clients to make informed decisions and achieve their financial goals. My approach is client-focused and transparent, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long-lasting relationships.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and two sons. I love cooking up a storm, experimenting with new recipes and enjoying family meals together. I also practice Pilates, Barre, and Yoga several times a week which helps me stay grounded and maintain both my physical and mental well-being.

Through understanding our clients’ priorities and current position, working with our Financial Planning Consultants, we make it easier for our clients to make informed decisions and plan confidently for the future.
As a Chartered Accountant, I worked in practice for over a decade supporting many businesses and their owners with their finances and tax. For 15 years, I owned Gardiner’s Homecare which helped support many elderly local residents enjoy independent lives in the comfort of their own homes. As a longstanding client of Fox Payne, my wife and I have benefited from the support we needed to confidently make good decisions in planning for our future and protecting our family.
Away from work, my wife and I have two teenage children who spend a lot of their free time rowing – inspired by them, I’m now also either rowing or training most days.
We also have two working dogs that need a lot of exercise – currently we’re trying to train them to find truffles!

I have worked in financial services since 1995 and joined Fox Payne Associates Limited in 2012 as a Paraplanner. My role in the company is to support Matt and the advisers by liaising with clients, analysing clients existing plans and completing financial reports with recommendations to meet their objectives as well as dealing with clients assets on our investment platforms.

I have always had a strong passion for finance and economics, which led me to pursue a career in Financial Planning after graduating from Cardiff University in 2022. I began my professional journey with Fairstone Wealth Management before joining Fox Payne Associates in July 2025.
In my current role as a paraplanner, I work closely alongside our Senior Financial Planning Consultants. I conduct the necessary in-depth research to support the advisers’ recommendations, ensuring we deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.
I aspire to become a Financial Planning Consultant in the future, and I firmly believe that Fox Payne is the ideal environment to continue my professional growth.
I grew up in Reading and have been happy to call it home for my whole life. Outside of work hours, I am a keen footballer and also play golf regularly although it would be hard to tell based on my handicap!

As a Senior Administrator with over 20 years’ experience, I support our advisers in helping our clients achieve their financial objectives through the delivery of our continuous advice service.

My role includes effective process of new business applications, liaising with our Platform and Product Providers and dealing with any client queries that are required.

Outside of work I am a competitive swimmer, which takes me all over the country. I also enjoy teaching swimming and going out in to the countryside for walks with my dog Chester.

I began working in the Financial Service industry in 1990 with Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society. I joined Fox Payne Associates in 2005. My role as administrator includes dealing with all incoming mail, scanning and filing as well as assisting our Office Manager with projects and general admin duties in the office.

In my spare time I love travelling and am always looking for different countries to visit. I still have a few places on my bucket list! I also volunteer for 2 local charities which I find very rewarding and enjoyable. In the summer you can usually find me in my garden with a good book and a G&T!

My role as a paraplanner is to support the delivery of financial reviews and reports to our clients as part of our continuous advice service, as well as dealing with the administration of our clients’ assets through our investment platforms and various product providers.

I’m passionate about delivering excellent service and value for our clients and part of this is achieved by keeping up to date with the latest regulation and industry knowledge by way of continued professional development.

I have two grown-up children and live locally in Caversham, a short walk from our office location.

I aim to provide the highest customer service by supporting our Consultants in the care of our clients.
